Veterinary Collaboration

Behavior and health are closely connected, which is why we frequently collaborate with local veterinarians when developing behavior-focused treatment plans. Depending on your pet’s needs, this may include discussing medical findings, coordinating recommendations, or supporting conversations around behavior-related medical care.

Because approaches to behavior can vary between providers, we ask that clients obtain approval from their primary veterinarian before proceeding with veterinary collaboration. To make this process easier, we’ve provided a document below that outlines our approach and can be shared with your veterinary team in advance. We’re always happy to work together to support the best outcome for your pet.
